Sure, I can't disagree with that but it appears to be close enough that something should be done, and it shouldn't be done on the basis of oil but just because it is the right thing to do.
It seems to me that in one way the major issue here is how the internet can be used to get this type of message out to the world with the result that it empowers the average individual, (for better or for worse), in a way that has never been the case before. More than ever we are a global community and the African peasant is my brother.
The US has sent 100 individuals over there to help. How many times could something like that be done for .1% of the cost of the war in Iraq with far more positive results.
