Well that's not a good start if you're looking for the 'truth'. Asking such questions only of Christians puts you inside an echo chamber and insulates you from answers that might lie outside it.
But perhaps you didn't mean to exclude those with other beliefs and none from your discussion?
An atheist, such as I, will tell you that you have produced the evidence that answers your own question. The stories that you have spent your life obsessing over are simply human-created myth. People are subject to the pains and joys of life in the same ways regardless of belief. Your imaginary god demontrably treats both belivers in him and non-believers in him in the same way.
And that's a truth.
