With select segments of The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror. Like when Kang and Kothos abduct presidential candidates Bill Clinton and Bob Dole and take their place. Even when the deception is revealed, Kang and Kothos are still the only candidates left and you had to vote for one of them. Later when the human race is reduced to slavery, Marge glares at Homer who replies, "Don't look at me; I voted for Kothos."
And another episode showing the future where Lisa had just been sworn in as POTUS following the Trump Administration that had left the country completely broke. That was aired around 1990.
