I"ve made an excellent case, based on the Bible and common sense. I have seen nothing to alter my views in the least.
Looking back over the posts, I have seen nothing but opinions based on faulty human philosophy. For me, the Bible is the final authority.

Dr. Schweitzer was shocked to discover soft tissue inside a T-Rex fossil. This was in Stark contrast with her false world view based on evolution. Not wanting to accept what she was observing she performed nearly two dozen tests on the fossil. She was eventually forced to accept that the tissue was pliable. The veins we're flexible.
However, she still clings to her misguided world view. And so do the other evolutionists who refuse to believe what they observe. No amount of evidence/proof will change their minds. About them God has stated that "professing themselves to be wise they became fools." Romans 1:22. These fools tried to explain that iron in the blood had preserved the tissue for 75,000,000 years. It would take a fool to believe this crap. Since Mary Schweitzer's soft tissue discovery, other fossils are being found with soft tissue. What we observe is that "kind produce kind." Nothing contrary to this has ever been observed.

They don't need to believe anything. They haven't changed their mind because finding what they found doesn't change evolutionary theory. It's a very exciting finding.
Since Mary Schweitzer's soft tissue discovery, other fossils are being found with soft tissue. Yes, exciting isn't it? Jurassic Park here we go.
What we observe is that "kind produce kind." Nothing contrary to this has ever been observed. That's correct and - silly biblical names aside - is exacyly what the ToE says; species don't breed different species. There's a fairly fundamental principle involved here, if you want to argue with science you must first understand the science. On the plus side at least you can now spell the scientist's name. So very very sorry again Mr. Humanity Hater (which you really are), but Nicaea is part of the heritage of traditional orthodox Christianity, no cult except according to lying Christianity haters who don't know what they are talking about. Not a hater, Love. Just disappointed at how many people are so willing to forfeit reality for fantasy, especially when those fantasies involve so much exclusivity and inclinations towards violence. Doesn't matter how many of which cults gathered at Nicaea, a few of which had to travel under the Emperor's guarantee of protection lest the other cults kill them. A cult is a cult. They were, and still are, all cults. No sooner had the various factions departed Nicaea when the violence flared again, cult vs cult, christian vs christian, christian vs everybody else. And you continue in that grand tradition, maybe not a violence of the flesh in your case but a violence of the mind just as mean, ugly and pitiful. That is truly the hateful bit.

This kind of ignorant comment, just one of many on the forums today, is good reason for me to get off this crazy bus. EvC is going to go on and on and on characterized by such crazy lies and there seems to be nothing anyone can do about it.

Please don't leave. You are a great source of entertainment. Like slapstick.
Of course, everything that challenges your sacred view is ignorant lie. We expect that from the more malignant, dogmatic, inhumane cults like yours. Reality hurts. We understand that. But you are right. EvC is going to go on and on and on characterized by such reality and there is nothing anyone can do about it until Percy closes us down.

I get frustrated with some of my fellow Christians for being such able salesmen for Satan, despite their beliefs, and I too often come across more on the opposing team than on TEAM: Jesus, but as long as EvC survives, I will be here attempting to formulate arguments that make sense. Do keep challenging me though. I need critics and skeptics more than I need cheerleaders! The scriptures predict that if I get stronger (and according to my critics, more irrational in regards to my beliefs,) I will become less popular than if I showed signs of rational enlightenment. My hope is that everyone at least understands that I am not desperately grabbing at straws. My subjective experience has been strong. quote: I might not understand your position, forgive me. How does hand washing relate to your intrepretation of the Biblical text? (Keep in mind the hard washing was part of the ORAL LAW, and to make things complicated, the ORAL LAW has, since the time of Jesus, been put into a written SECOND LAW - The Mishnah. But this Oral Tradition of a rule did not make the final cut. THE HAND WASHING THINGY IN MARK 7/MATTHEW 15 WILL NOT BE FOUND IN THE OLD TESTAMENT) Does Jesus reject hand washing as a worthless practice when it comes to making one healthy? You said he did not reject the ban on pork eating, right? (except you say the Mosaic ban on pork was NOT A MORAL COMMAND but some sort of health law? Should I put health law in caps since you seem to feel that there is a previously unknown type of law division in the Torah? "Health Law"?) There is alot of confusion here.

When one reads the Athanasian Creed it should be crystal clear that the author (Athanasia ?) Was a lunatic. It makes absolutely no sense.
Throughout the NT there is a family centered theme: The Father and Son. Each of us have the potential to become a member of this family. God gave the Israelites (not just Judah) His calendar. The beginning of a new year was the month of Abib, which begins in the Spring. God's days begin in the evening, at sunset. God also gave us His 7th day Sabbath. Daniel chapter 7 describes the Holy Roman Empire --union between church and state. Rome is the beast (beast is symbolic for kingdom/king. The Catholic Church is the image of the beast. They both rule(d) from the top down. And both have adopted Sunday (day of the sun) as their identifying mark. There was a time when one did not accept the mark (work on Saturday and rest on Sunday) that they were not permitted to buy or sell. This situation will once again arise. There is no way to hide from one's choice. Rome and it's filthy counterfeit church have in fact changed times and laws. The world begins a new year on January 1, in the dead of winter. Day's now begin at midnight, and the majority of the Christian world has deserted God's Sabbath in order to worship on the day of the sun. Both Rome and it's image (CC) have killed the saints of God, in horrible ways. Read Foxe's Book of Martyrs, as well as other books on this subject. I'm not condemning the good people who are Catholic, but it's leaders are in serious trouble.

Come on Phat; one doesn't have to be enlightened in order to read. The Bible tells us how to determine clean from unclean meat. It doesn't take a rocket scientist. In fact, a college degree isn't required; although, I received my Bachelor at the age of 52.
There might very well be a time when hardly any meat will to fit to eat. But, we cannot blame God for what we ourselves contaminate. I'm not your enemy, Phat. Satan is.

Maybe you've never heard of communism? Or fascism? Untold billions were spent to destroy and defend them. Untold lives were lost. Comparatively, the "battle" between Christianity and reality is a schoolyard spat.

And you know this how? You cant reframe subjective experience for others nor can you predict the results of their belief...conduct your own experiments and resulting conclusions. Granted some of what i believe is fantasy. But jusy because it works for you to say that God is fiction does not mean that your conclusion becomes global reality.
