Since all posts, all thoughts and feelings are property of evc forum, that means that the owner of this site owns everything ever said on this site right? So Percy at any time could you publish a book using what someone else said as your own?

It is a public forum -- anyone can use the information. Proper form is to reference the author, but there is no legal requirement to do so that I am aware of (it doesn't fall into copyright or 'royalty' ownership).

IANAL
It is a public forum -- anyone can use the information. I don't know about that. When you write something, you gain automatic copyright over it, public or not. Our registration agreement might stipulate that Percy now owns all of our communications, but that might not be enforcable. It's a legal gray area, and I think that anybody who tried to use substantial portions of our written material for commercial gain without our permission would find themselves in a rather actionable position.

Re: IANAL
It's important though because I've been thinking of pulling material to publish the difinitive whatever/brad discussion. I think you'd need both their permission and Percy's to do that. On the other hand, if you built a webpage that made the database requests to get the posts from the server for each person to read, that would just be deep linking, of a kind, and that would probably be ok. Of course, it'd be kind of being an asshole, too.

Re: IANAL
Do IT. When I was at CU and a very good student Intellectual History after hearing how I was treated here said he was going to write a book on me. The Romance Dept. got to him first however and he went the way of all affairs of this type. My brother wrote a couple hundrend page "booK" on me on discussions we had over the dinner table on ontological confidence I called the "gravitational theory of the mind." The story line had my ideas in demand by the FBI. My father wrote his "therapy" of me after what he felt was faliure of the law to correct a medical observation. I have been toying with trying to reach a larger on-line environment but breaking out would be better.Go for it! Percy is cool to me.

Re: IANAL
"substantial portions" would be plagiarizing and subject to scrutiny, but the question was about ideas presented on the forum. Anyone can take an idea here and write their own article on it with very little concern because the idea was given to the public here for consideration.

Re: LAZAL
I tried. I must stIll be taLKing past everyone. Oh Well. It might be possible to do the GPS-Glosnass-new ChinaSAtprocess- from ordinating data to frameworks of collection localities of organisms and correlating to claims in millions of years but if we cant get the understanding of simple physiological possiblilites, the technology to test motion of plates biologically is remote, very remote if congized by anyone but me etc, if it exists at all if paid for etc etc. but I was waiting for Loudmouth to see if he still disagreed with my ideas on form-making or not.
