Refering to this thread, what was it doing in the great debate anyway? It was a thread started by a newbie wanting to know about evolution. I see that it is 2 years old, so anyone remember why it was in the great debate?

Back in the early days of , there were not all the different forums. I think the "Great Debate" was then the main debate forum. Percy/Admin later reorganized things, more or less, into the current format. In the process, the "Great Debate" topics were intended to be distributed to the appropriate forums.Some "Great Debate" topics, however, never got moved at that time. As these straglers later came up, they were then moved or closed or something. Right now, I'm overcome with apathy, as far as doing something about that inactive for 2 years but again active "Great Debate" topic.I believe that there are a fair number of other non one-on-one "Great Debate" topics lurking out there.I presume you did see my message at http://EvC Forum: Please explain evolution. -->EvC Forum: Please explain evolution.Adminnemooseus
