Obama is unelectable by the middle of the electorate.
Why?

then lets agree to disagree. because im a conservative christian and your not. i do not believe a woman's place is just in sweeping and cleaning. men also do this. but i dont believe it is a wise decision to have a woman rule a nation. and I'm sure many would agree.
a woman is more caring, but men more logically cold. Again, this is just your opinion. There is no evidence for this, it's just your excuse for bigotry. I'm not a bigot. i just dont believe its wise for a woman to be in such a position of power as the presidency due to a woman's natural tendencies. if you call that bigotry, then as you see it it is true to you. if Clinton wins the nomination in America, Mccain will most likely be president because of a large majority conventional base.(question is, who will bother to vote?) if democrats loose this presidency, it will be because of their own inability to properly judge the needs and desires and minds of the population as a whole, Obama has a very strong chance against McCain. even amongst conservative Christians. keep your mind from this way of enquiry, for never will you show that not-being is ~parmenides

i figured that wording would bring that as a possibility in readers minds, but no; i meant "our" as man's vs woman's inclinations by mental structure.

OK, tesla, let's agree to disagree, because;
a) I'm never going to stop calling bullshit on statements like the ones you've been making.and b) Your sexist and racist views aren't really the issue here. tesla writes: if Clinton wins the nomination in America, Mccain will most likely be president because of a large majority conventional base. I do wonder if Clinton isn't a liability, but not for the same reasons (I rather fancy that the US electorate are not all as sexist as tesla). Isn't Hillary still hated? I remember a rich seam of hate for her during Bill's tenure. Isn't that a concern? It wouldn't be a factor in the primaries, because it's not Democrats who hate her, but might it not be an issue with the middle class moderates who swing the vote? What do people think? As a neutral observer, I'm just glad that whoever wins this time, none of the candidates is too awful and we won't have to suffer another four years of a retarded chimp in the oval office. Yay! Women in power , who i have worked under, make good financial decisions. but when they have power they tend to act more like a mother to all, than like a ruler of a man.
super-mommy says wear your seat-belt, don't look at girls butts, and dont smoke cigarettes. but mister dad Say's , son, i understand you have a decision in these things, but ill tell you what i believe is best for you, and the laws i do set for you you must obey for the good of the whole, but still you are a man, and have your own decisions to make concerning issues that are no one else's business. keep your mind from this way of enquiry, for never will you show that not-being is ~parmenides

I agree that sometimes womem and mem have different perspectives, but that can play as an advantage for womem as often as it can be a disadvantage.

yes it can. but read the post above yours. i don't want any more laws taking away basic freedoms. one day it could be quite possible that a law is set to have a bathmat in all tubs because you could slip and fall.

You finally said something I can agree with. It was bound to happen, even if just by accident. Back to topic. Are you saying you believe Hillary is more likely to favor laws like this bathmat example then Barak because she's an woman and that's why you are less likely to vote for her then for him? Did I get that right?

I remember a rich seam of hate for her during Bill's tenure. Only among the right wing. Bill was always pretty popular among the mainstream, and Hillary was never hated; in fact, she was pretty popular among women. The "I hate Clinton just because" crowd were just noisy, not numerous. ...Onward to Victory is the last great illusion the Republican Party has left to sell in this country, even to its own followers. They can't sell fiscal responsibility, they can't sell "values," they can't sell competence, they can't sell small government, they can't even sell the economy. -- Matt Taibbi

Hilary is a mom style woman. she appeals to emotional needs. its a popular antic, but probably can turn into a nightmare in political decision making.(IMO)
the way our government is set up there are cushions in place to curve some of the potential disaster, but with what I've seen happen with Bush, i now know the cushions are not really all that effective. some women may be fit to take advice better, but i havent seen where Hilary has displayed this. she has a lot of ambition, but that can be dangerous if not put in perspective. this country is on a dangerous trend. to many Americans have strong opposing views, anda nation divided cannot stand. did you know that 30% of americans cannot afford food and rely on assistance? regardless of a woman or man leading the republic as a whole is full of corruption. but even still, i will not vote for a woman leader. i believe a woman in power will only further divide an already divided nation. keep your mind from this way of enquiry, for never will you show that not-being is ~parmenides

IMO, the success of an Obama/Clinton ticket will boil down to whether or not they can they convine the American voter they are not too far left on the dial. Moderates decide elections and the 'L' word scares many moderates. McCain has the advantage in this department as he was never considered a true right wing conservative.
If it comes down to Moderate vs Liberal, the Moderate will always win.
