Hey everyone,
I'm new (you may have guessed!) I'm fascinated by apologetics, but unfortunately being young (and still at school!), don't have the background knowledge to understand everything I want to know. So I basically joined to pick up stuff, broaden my knowledge on both sides of this debate etc, etc.

Well....it's an interesting idea. But I can't say I agree with you. You can make your ideal God but in the end you're going to be dissapointed, because the idea of a deity is not for them to suit our needs.

As for John the baptist being a magician....why John the baptist? He wasn't working for his own credibility as magicians do. Are you essentially avoiding saying you think Jesus is a magician?
