Just an update. Now there are over 500 Steves, Stevies, and Stevens with degrees in the natural sciences that all agree that evolution should be taught in high school classrooms as an accurate theory. Anybody have links for the number of Steves with a degree in that natural sciences that DISAGREE with evolution?
I am sure that there is some tangible, emmence implication of this Steve phenomenon. Trouble is I can not see what it is? And that bothers me!! Must be something you EVC old timers started.
The Steve list was started because some creationist organizations were producing lists of scientists (of course, few of them were, fewer in any of the life sciences) that disagreed with evolution.
The Steve list is a semi-joking indication of how stupid that is as an argument for anything.

As well as a refutation of the "evolution as a theory believed only by a minority of scientists" theme - if you get 500 names when you restrict yourself to the Steves, and Steves et al only account for a smal fraction of all relevant scientists, well, you do the math.
