Now, that is an unbiased source.

So, in the story of Puss N Boots the cat goes to London England, a real place, to see the Queen (Victoria) a real person who once lived, so this proves, by using your "reasoning", that without a doubt that Cats can talk as humans do? That makes perfect sense... NOT!

There are no explanations of how the information necessary for life to start came about without any intelligence present.

And there is none to explain with it either. Well, none which is credible, verifible, or unbiased that is.

This is why I think life started less than 10000 years ago:

Again, another unbiased source.

The fact that the universe and our solar system is fine-tuned to support life demands for intelligent design.

Of course, there is literally NO evidence for assuming that ANY random universe wouldn’t have some kind of life. The mere fact that this one does have life doesn’t mean it “had” to. You’re erroneously inferring purpose where none exists. Your argument fails unless you can provide evidence of purpose – and by extension that life is the universal “final cause”. Good luck.

quote:
For life to start, information had to start at the same time and there is no possible way in which random specified information can come into existence without an intelligent being originating it.

Whoa, there. You’ve already been asked for a succinct explanation of what type/definition of information you’re using. Your spiel about “random specified information” is utterly meaningless without that context (and may in fact be meaningless WITH that context).

Would you care to try and frame an actual argument rather than random handwaving?

JM: I repeat, anyone can put up a website. What peer-reviewed scientific literature can you provide to support your assertion that the earth is <10000 years old?

Cheers

Mopsveldmuis, take a look of some papers there (which are badly underdiscussed here ). See if you can defend your information claim against the models of Adami et al. & Schneider which shows that complexity do increase naturalistically.

You've missed my question.

I asked for positive evidence for a literal interpretation
of Biblical events. Places and people are not events.

There are some threads that deal with lack of evidence for
significant Biblical events (in the biblical accuracy thread).

There is a lot on 'information' in other threads in this topic.

What information is necessary for life?
Is there any information in biological systems?
What IS information anyhow?

I asked for you to post the methods that have been applied
that show the earth to be young.
