debate skills
... and it seems like these forums would be a great way to practice apologetics and work on my debate skills.
LOL, boy did you come to the right place! There are a lot of people here who love to discuss and debate. Some seem to switch sides just to keep the debates going. They might rather argue than not.
But if you've read any existing postings you will find that it ain't easy here. You don't get to get away with much.
...I believe in microevolution but not macroevolution ...
The coffee house isn't a good place to debate that one. It needs to be a thread in "Biological Evolution". Let me see if I can find one.
Here are a few:
Is there evidence for macroevolution?
"Macro" vs "Micro" genetic "kind" mechanism?
Those two might be the best to contribute to.
Then some others:
Macroevolution - An experimentally created incipient species of Drosophila
Pigeons and Dogs: Micro or Macro evolution?
Evidence For Evolution - Top Ten Reasons
The first thing you will have to do is define what you mean by "macro" and "micro" evolution. They have a general defintion within biology and, by that definition, macro has been shown to occur currently.
