We all know the story. Jesus suffered and died on the cross so that through him we may be forgiven for our sins. Granted, I wouldn't want to die on a cross. But were his few days of suffering really sufficient for ALL sins? And when you compare the amount Jesus suffered to the amount people suffer all the time, it doesn't really seem that bad. The Jews certainly had it worse during the Holocaust. People suffer from debilitating illnesses for their entire lives, but Jesus got off with just a couple days of torture. That's hardly fair.
