I just wanted to finally register here and say "Hello" to everyone at EvC.
I have been lurking the forum for about a year now and I find it highly addictive. So many great topics and debates on every side.
I have learned a lot just from reading this forum and want to thank everyone for all the effort toward doing such great research into the myraid of topics, scientific, and biblical fields.
As a little background into myself: I am an Evolutionist, stemming from an open mind and an analytical thought process. I couldn't get myself to have any trust in something with no evidence and/or logic.
I definitely don't have much experience in any of the fields of science that are involved in these discussions so I won't be chiming in too much, but I will throw in my 2 cents worth when I feel I can.
Neuro
P.S. Admins, if I need to change anything let me know. I will be happy to do so. New to this forum and new to posting in any forum at that.
(Edit: "definitely" instead of "defiantly")

Re: W e l c o m e !
Thank you!
I think I got the handle of how everything works here. Probably will be needing some directions now and then, but that is expected.
I am going to try and involve myself as I can. Probably with more questions then anything

I am going to try. I just started up college from an unfortunate and unwanted 3 year break.
I have always been intested in anything in the field of science, but my true love is art and design so science has had to take a back seat.
Thank you for your vote of confidence!
I had to admit that I am a bit intimidated, but I know that is unfounded.

I plan on not letting my level of knowledge on subjects hinder me from posting any comments.
Neuro
(Just noticed my glaring error in accidentally using the word "defiantly" instead of "definitely", kind of puts a different context to my statement)
(edit: spelling)

I do take pride in my sense of humo(u)r (internatoinally friendly spelling). It can be a bit odd and outlandish at times but that is why I take pride it in

Do you know what a cat's favorite color is?
I have no clue. ( I hope that this isn't an initiation test The FAQ didn't cover any hazing so I better watch out )

Welcome to the fray
Thanks
You can still have a valid opinion on things, and your education in design can be useful when some people talk about "intelligent design" versus the evidence of intelligence in the design.
Very true. As an artist I would have to label "Intelligent Design" as abstract; an installation piece
