Go to "Statistics" from the top menu, then click "By Teams" from the left hand menu. Once there you have "World Community Grid Team Summary" where you can get an alpha list of teams, and "Team Statistics."
If you look under "Team Statistics" you have the option of getting the rating listing of teams by members, run-time, results, points, etc. You can even do multiple team comparisons. You can also get statistics by project, geography, and by members.

Yours truly just beat out MangyTiger with 216 results. Oh yea!!!
Under 20k points to beat out Omni. I KNEW being a total computer nerd would count for something someday!! No smoking signs by gas stations. No religion in the public square. The government should keep us from being engulfed in flames on earth, and that is pretty much it. -- Jon Stewart, The Daily Show

Arrrrgh! I thought that I'd joined Team EvC six weeks ago, when I put work and home computers on the job. Apparently I didn't, though. Senility? Dumbassness?
Is there a way to assign my 60,000 points to the team? The "Help" function is down over there.

I "believe" that only points/results reached while a member of a team count toward that team. So, as for us you are starting over, sorry.
But Welcome anyway hun, glad to have you.

We know you've been on since then, and your results still help with the overall goal. We thank you for each and every one of them.

Ok, I took a look at my work machine and as far as I know, there's little point in adding it to the grid. It couldn't handle running it in the background and I use it constantly so there's no time for a screensaver to run apart from on my lunch. And I have to switch it off every night so it doesn't run when I'm not there.
As far as security goes, both my home computers are as protected as possible - firewalled, good anti-virus, and I run Spybot and Ad-Aware once a week. The grid doesn't seem any more risky than any other program that uses the net, to be honest. The company I work for is pretty paranoid about security, and they'd be ok with me running the grid. It's just that there's no time for it to run.

Members (Rank) 28 (#317) Logically, based on membership numbers we should be able to get down to low 300's on all team ranks evenually, all else being equal. Here is a revised prognosis for the results 500 rank. It seems other groups are on the move too, causing our arrival to be postponed. The current group to beat for the 500 rank is Michigan Grid. This objective should be reached around april 25th.
"Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science." - Charles Darwin. Did you know that most of the time your computer is doing nothing? What if you could make it do something really useful? Like helping scientists understand diseases? Your computer could even be instrumental in finding a cure for HIV/AIDS. Wouldn't that be something? If you agree, then join World Community Grid now and download a simple, free tool that lets you and your computer do your share in helping humanity. After all, you are part of it, so why not take part in it?

What???
Your analysis was flawed? Now all of evolution is doomed. Haeckel move over. LOL. Not too surprising given that all teams are in flux and start from different baselines. We may even be overtaken by some new upstart team ... unless we add new members ...

Yours truly just beat out MangyTiger with 216 results. Oh yea!!! You got lucky - I had to go into hospital for three weeks late in January and it seems my broadband modem locked up within a couple of days of me going in. As a result my 24x7 Linux box didn't do anything from the second last week in January until now. I'm back home again now - I'll get the Linux box connected up again and see if we can't do something about giving you a run for your money I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then

You'll have a window of opportunity as I am doing some reconfiguring of my machines. One is going down permanently and another is getting an upgrade and reinstall. Once I am back up I'll have only 2 machines instead of 3 but they should be "faster".
What confuses me is why my Athlon 1800 (linux) consistently returns results faster than my Athlon 2500 (windows). Can a change in OS really make that much difference or could it be the minority of hours I spend playing warcraft?
