Taping Call-centres

I have read many of the inquiries/replies in this forum regarding taping conversations and calls. Please note that if you research the general laws in nearly every state, you can legally record any conversation that you are a party of. Third party taping is generally illegal, or must be announced....probably best to tape the warning that you are taping the conversation as proof. With the exception of confidential meetings, and proprietary information, citizens are free to record conversations they are party to. I have used this many times to support my claims of being overpromised and underdelivered. It has also been efficient when I have recorded supervisors who were committing violations of harassment laws. This is a very effective tool. Just like the movie Green Street Houligans, some ones own voice on tape can be awesome evidence to support your claims. I do not support taping 3rd party conversations, but do support the right to record conversations that you are party to. Why do you think that the government and it's agents record interviews? They also record many elements of contacts with citizens, like traffic stops, and domestic disputes, just in case it goes awry!

Also, if you are ever in a dispute with an abusive government agent, lika a police officer... dial 911 and the call and evrything they do or say is recorded, and a matter of public record. Use the system to your advantage, this technique has help many across the nation. Where as I support the need for law enforcement, I also do not condone abuses and government agents know that evrything they do and say is under the watchful eye of technologically advance citizens! Be smart out there
