Yes, you lost it, but after five minutes of looking I can't find the sequence of two or three posts that led to this. Every post of yours I've just read is constructive and on-topic. My vague recollection is that at some point you were addressing the deficits of either JAD or Syamsu himself instead of their ideas. Anyway, I can't find these posts, seems like a minor nit now as I look over all your positive contributions, I'm restoring your access.

The Purpose of Showcase
It probably helps if I explain the reasons for the Showcase forum every now and then. It's pretty simple. Showcase is for those who have proven immune to moderation, but who many wish to debate anyway. It's probably also good idea to assess from time to time how well Showcase is working. After a fairly robust start it has pretty much petered out. The last post there was over a week ago. If would appear that much of the appeal of debating with showcased members was to tweak their nose through the bars, so to speak, because once it became clear that this wouldn't be permitted while the showcased members were given free rein, interest dissipated. Another possibility for the lack of participation could that access by request only is too restrictive. Currently, no one has access unless specifically granted. We could try switching to a scheme where everyone has access unless specifically denied.

The organization of the site evolves over time. We've never been able to keep everyone happy at the same time, and being realists we don't try. EvC Forum was created to explore creationism's claim to be every bit as much science as evolution. The science forums are where this exploration takes place. The religious forums exist for a variety of reasons, one of which is to explore creationism's claims from a theological rather than scientific perspective.

Showcase Access
I notice that activity has picked up recently in the [forum=-37] forum. Anyone who would like access to the [forum=-37] forum in order to participate in discussion there should post their request here. Keep in mind that while showcased members are not constrained by the Forum Guidelines, the same is not true of everyone else. Unless you're a showcased member, you are required to follow the Forum Guidelines everywhere you participate at EvC Forum. In addition, showcased members can request that access be rescinded for any member, and these requests are usually granted.
