I don't see anything wrong with it.
I do think it is pretty silly and would have no possible effect on the peoples chances for salvation.
For me the really sad part about it is that the people that created the Challenge as well as those who are getting upset about it are just playing the old Quotemine Game. They pull a line out of context and each side uses it to propagandize and manipulate kids.
It is a Cult of Ignorance on both sides.
The Ring.
He clipped the coupon from the box
and carefully filled it out.
He enclosed 25
put on a 3 stamp,
walked to the corner
and placed the envelope in the mailbox.
He was a good little boy
and wait patiently
day
after day
for the Mailman to bring
the Captain Midnight
Glow in the Dark
Secret Decoder Ring.
Days passed.
Weeks passed.
Yet each day
the Mailman did not bring
the Captain Midnight
Glow in the Dark
Secret Decoder Ring.
He was a good little boy,
but he became angrier and angrier
until one day,
unbidden,
he shouted
"There is no God!"
Then he was afraid,
and ran and hid beneath his bed
in fear that God
would come during the night
and strike him dead.
But the Ring came,
and it glowed
green
in the dark.
