Hi HH, welcome to EvC.
Your question is a good one and has been discussed here before.
Your logic is impeccable, it is your facts that are a bit pecced.
I did a search and found one place where it is being discussed:
Message 10.
Look around there.
If you still want to discuss it you can ask questions there or, if needed, we could promote this topic.

It get's more mind warping.
Good luck HH.
We have a couple of resident real physicists. Cavediver and Son Goku by name. If you dig up there posts you will have your poor brain twisted even worse.
It seems that spacetime isn't a nothing. In fact, it is the nothing that is everything. I find that at some point I just have to accept what is being said without being able to check it out or really grasp what is going on. I do have enough understanding to know that there is some pretty strong reasons why it is necessary to give credence to this stuff.
The universe around us is, for sure, NOT as we perceive it!
