note that I said most when referring to both most does not mean all
to me Ignorant means refusing to think about something on your own and not take into account other things. or Refuse to look at it from another direction(something like that) Most evolutionist don't fall into this. we look for facts and Base or Belief on those. if the theory changes for good reason. we change also. This doesn't happen with Creationists MOST times

I have to admit I agree. Ever seen a merchant in a shopping centre selling healing magnets? People will believe things that they rationally know aren’t true just to make their lives easer. Heck, I know a good engineer who believes there isn’t enough food in the world to feed all the starving people. You don’t have to put too much thought into this topic to realise the truth. But for his sake I am sure he sleeps well at night. The age of enlightenment is all very well but you have to be curios, persistent, analytical and critical, or you just believe.

Look, this thread was started in order to ask why creationists bother with science. I just answered with my opinion based on personal experience. I'm sorry if my language was a little harsh - it was really just to illustrate the point. I don't believe that the Bible is all bullshit, and I do think that everyone is free to believe whatever they want.
I shouldn't attack anyone for their beliefs, and if it sounded that way then I apologise - I'll try to be more moderate in future. Bear in mind though that science does not require belief, but creationism does - so some attacks, real or imaginary, must be expected.
