It's not what you said, I just exrapolated a little further on your futile assertion that all science is free of sexism and racism. Nobody here makes arguments like you do, although they agree with it, and if they did make arguments like that, I'm sure I would respond likewise. Yes I'm determined to ignore you now. Try to discuss with someone else. You will find it very hard to get any meaningful discussion going with anyone once you start with things like science is a baseballbat.

Mohammad Nor Syamsu

Your argument is not terribly clear to me. By pointing out how you can disuss similarly with creationsim and racism, I still say we should be discussing Darwinism in this thread and not creationism.
I guess to use the words of war to things unseen, facillitates killing without any observed reason for killing. On the other hand referring to unseen evil may also lead to large margins of moral safety, to keep as far away from anything that seems remotely evil, like killing.

Mohammad Nor Syamsu

You will find it very hard to get any meaningful discussion going with anyone once you start with things like science is a baseballbat.
To the contrary - it is you who won't be able to communicate concepts until you learn how useful and appropriate the technique of "analogy" can be.
I mean your objection here is as stupid as saying "your argument is false because you spell "color" with a "u", and I don't like that."
Like I said: "analogy". Look it up.

Your argument is not terribly clear to me.
What's not to understand? Here, I'll try again with shorter words.
When a person is at war, they find it evry easy to commit acts that would be considered very wrong at other times - not the least of which is killing. Sometimes even killing civilian children can be excused in war. If you tell a guy that he's involved in a spiritual war between good and evil, it makes it really easy for him to commit horrible acts, like bombing schools and stuff. Therefore themes of spiritual warfare are very dangerous.
Since most religions (including Christianity and Islam) feature a lot of these themes, those religions are dangerous, and should not be allowed to continue. At the very least more appropriate imagery should be substituted. And at any rate, religion is far more dangerous than science, which does not include themes of spiritual warfare.
Get it yet? I don't know how much simpler I can make it. If you're having trouble with this should you really be trying to talk about the sciences?

Syamsu, just exactly how is science as a process for learning things racists or sexist? I don't see that you have made a direct connection.
I also don't understand you objection to the baseballbat analogy. Could you explain why it is inapplicable in this situation?

In what way do you have any credibility? You have been unable to address a single substantive criticism to your assertions, you beg people to go away since you cannot address their points, you cannot understand the most simplistic analogies that any 4 year old would be able to at least comprehend.
If you want to actually establish that you have any credibility you will
1. address the counterpoints to your assertions
2. demonstrate that your assertions are not some retarded fundie diatribe against sciences that you don't understand but are actually based on some scientific principle
3. if 2 is the case, how it is supported by the evidence as opposed to re-asserting your point once it has been rebutted
4. show how science and (not the practioners of science..shrafinators point which you did not understand) leads to racism and sexism by (as you have stated it does)
5. demonstrate that the followers of fundamentalist religions have not been involved in religion inspired mass murder and crimes against humanity...and that all such atrocities are linked solely to science as you have asserted.
You have over and over questioned the intelligence, credibility, and humanity of anyone who has responded to you...lets see you answer these 5 very simple questions oh captain dilusions of grandeur or concede that you cannot and are just a poor fundie who is trying to conceal his ignorance by using terms gleaned from crib notes you pulled from a high school students essay on Darwin's writings...good luck

No, it's clear that you, like all religious people, hate women, and that's why you automatically disagree with me and ignore the factual content of what I write.

Since you respond in exactly the same way to everyone, this is not news to me, Syamsu.

If someone misuses the ToE in an inappropriate way, like Social Darwinists have, why do you hold the ToE responsible for this misapplication?

Legally, yes... in the US at least. And yes, the Goddess would be displeased (and very surprised) if Wiccans advocated anything resembling hatred of women.

Well, it's clear that Syamsu couldn't possibly be a wiccan...
And besides, your comparing wicca to a religion just shows that your argument doesn't make sense and you are not worth responding to.
You should just go away.

Out of curiosity - can men be Wiccans? Or is it a women-only club? As far as I have seen, Wicca is portrayed in the media as only women. Not that the media counts for much, of course.

We've been over this before. You've offered absolutely no justification for including men in the definition of Wiccan. You're just attached to the definition that includes variation so you can say that some Wiccans are better than others. You've been refuted so now why don't you go away. Same goes for you, Scraf. And if Peter's not already away, he should go away.
