Yes, fairly odd, but hard to find the source of the problem, which could be at the source, the destination, or somewhere in between.

Yep, I see it. I was wondering if anyone noticed but me. This happens because thread titles are stored *with* the HTML, and stripping off the HTML isn't easy so rather than doing it wrong I don't do it. I recently wrote some code that does the HTML stripping correctly because it's actually doing a parse, but I'm not yet using it everywhere I need to. This will be coming, probably sometime this spring.

Can you describe the symptoms? For example, is the problem that you see no edit button? Or do you submit the edit but then don't see the changes? Can you edit in other threads?

I am unable to reproduce the problem in the Bush's Shia Islamic War Vs Obama's Sunni War thread. Is that the right thread? If so, can you check if the problem still exists? Some of the changes in the recent update were improvements to the edit code.

Okay, thanks, hope you can stay with me. Can you provide the URL from the address box of the browser when this happens? I'm expecting to see "m=0" or even just "m=" as one of the CGI parameters. Once we have that nailed down we'll go from there.
