You have done nothing to undermine this fact.As far as trying to cast God as something less than a mysogynist, I might only remind you of the passage regarding the fall of Sodom, and an eerily similar passage in Judges.In both passages the heroes of the story toss their innocent female children and wives to be brutally raped by mobs. In the Judges passage the mob accepts and rapes the woman until the point of death. She manages to crawl to her husbands doorstep to die. He wakes and finds her and says "let's go". When she doesn't rise (because she's dead) he chops her body into pieces and spreads her around Israel.These were the GOOD GUYS. Great role models.------------------

God does not condemn the women for not screaming loud enough- she is condemned for not screaming at all. I don't know about you, but if a man attacked me I would yell so loud his eardrums would burst, and if I was in a town with no artificial sounds such as they had thousands of years ago, somebody would hear me.

Personally, as reprehensible as being raped would be, if I honestly thought that I would at least live through it by remaining silent, I wouldn't utter a sound.------------------

Not screaming when you're being violently assaulted, violated and threatened is a crime for which stoning to death is the only fitting punishment. Her failure to properly protest clearly makes her morally equal to her attacker and deserving of exactly the same punishment. What just and moral god could suggest otherwise?
