I'm not sure how one can find the truth insulting though. But hey, you're an ignoramus*, so you must spend your life constantly insulted!

(* just to be clear, I'm using the strict definition of 'one claiming to possess knowledge which he does not in fact possess'. So it it the truth in this case, but sorry if that makes it an insult! )

The frightening thing about all of this is that there are people who point at Hovind quotes and think that they are excellent arguments.

Now we know that Kent Hovind is basically a moron, but what does this make the people who think that Kent is a genuis. It is very frightening.
