In Finland I have no doubt that US election news is given a high profile. I'd be willing to bet the German election got a reasonable shout in their media too.
Apart from anything else Scandanavians tend to be rather less parochial than Americans (or Brits) in their interests.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't get many Svandanavian "stiffs" proclaiming that any election in which they don't vote is completely irrelevant. Whilst that point of view seems to be rather widespread amongst North American EvC members.
