I'm really not seeing that. Quite a few other people were potentially exposed, before Duncan was hospitalized. But thus far we are not hearing of any symptoms. If the virus had somehow learned to break out, I would expect some of those to be showing symptoms by now.
To me, it looks more likely that one or more of the hospital staff were careless at some time.
