God the Observer

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn’t find it if it has.There are a lot of theories trying to explain quantum phenomena. Rather than resorting to such ideas as “the many worlds” hypothesis, would it be not simpler to state there is an infinite observer that sees every quantum particle, the omniscient observer that gives Schrodinger’s cat his reality? Sort of the “uncaused cause” is the “unobserved observer”.
