Hi everyone...

I woke up this morning watching a show on discovery, about evolution.
I have no friends on this forum as I am new, I have only my own thoughts and ideas, as I have not been to college, only the military, and am now "retired" under military and social security disability.
As I was saying about waking up, I was immediately driven into a thought induced "brain freeze" similar to an epiphany I imagine.
I decided to find out more information and typed in Creation and Evolution. I found this site a little further down the list, under all the automotive forums and just started poking around.
I was impressed with the depth of knowledge, and understanding I have found here, in the past any questions I raised in my upbringing were immediately dismissed as "foolish and ignorant" I only ask that you accept me for who I am, as I will probably question many things some consider fact. I am only on a quest for personal gain, and not to insult anyone. I have no religious preference, or feel I need any. I have no scientific background either. Just hanging out, and trying to further my own personal understanding of what goes through my gray matter...

Hey Freek, welcome. That sucks because the only way to lose your ignorance is to ask questions but you have come to right place. Any display of ignorance will be met with kind hearted sympathy and patience. The facts of any particular matter will be gently displayed for your consideration. You can be ignorant here but not wilfully so.What was your epiphany?
