If, as it is claimed to be that the flood was a ‘recent’ and global event that carved out the grand canyon in a matter of days, why is there is only one of them? Why are there no more? There are many areas of similar rock deposits all around the world. Why was the grand canyon the only one that was cut into like this? It makes sense if the GC was cut by a river or network of rivers. But to claim a recent global flood did it does not.
If we accept the flood as true: how do we explain the lack of hundreds if not thousands of CG sized structures that would have resulted from all that water eroding the earth as it receded? It apparently had the power to carve one, why not more?
On a related note, where did all the water actually go? The earth was covered and the water rushed away with enough speed to cut the CG out of solid rock yet where did it go. Normal floods flow into the sea but this IS the sea and there is nowhere for it to flood to.
Hmmmn, hang on. never mind the water, what happened to all that salt?

Tentatively rejected.
There are several ongoing discussions on just that subject. Before promoting yet another, can you look through Message 1 and Message 1 and see if your subject is not covered in one of them.

Re: Tentatively rejected.
Yup kinda guessed that... Been away for a while so I guess i'm just getting back into the swing of things...
That and proposing a new topic is usually the quickest way to search the forums as to if the topic has been covered already: and turn up a link or two on said subject .
please close this thread.
