Long copy and pastes are frowned upon here and indeed (IIRC) are considered forum guideline violations.
I have just copy/pasted an entire modest lengthed (copyrighted) article here. I did include the source credit.
The entire article seemed worthy of being posted, and it seemed silly to do a rewrite to contain the same information. Yet it seems wrong to have quoted the entire thing.
Normally I would just post an excerpt with a link to the entire article. But 1) The article was fairly short, and 2) I have some apprehension about the long term existence of the cited page.
Opinions?

The only comment I would say is that by putting the whole thing here, you deprive the author of hits - something that can affect their "worth".
