For all of you poor unfortunates who have been unlucky to come across me in chat when I've been wittering on about my horse, here's a link to a piccie of the reprobate so you can see who it is I'm gabbling about.

What a beautiful horse. I think I will make it my wallpaper for a spell.

you can make it wallpaper, but you'll need glue...
Mark

I think the glue comes with the horse.

Nice looking horse Trixie.
His(?) coat looks very glossy - how much of the sheen is real (as opposed to an artefact of the photography process)?

Never put off until tomorrow what you can put off until the day after

Nice horse and whats more...
I don't know much about horses - it sure does look well proportioned to me.
What struck me most was that expertly executed brickwork in the background. And this for a shed!

What's his breeding?
2-3 times a week if he's lucky.

Thanks everyone
I'll tell Phoenix you said nice things about him.
We have no idea about his breeding, he's a cob of some sort with a head that's a wee bit too big for his body, really chunky legs and, when unshaved, loads of feathers from the hocks down. He's got a neck so thick and strong that he can be a bit of a problem when he takes it into his head to be a pratt. He's supposedly a gelding, but I think he's a rig as he does sometimes exhibit very stallion-like behaviour and can be awkward.
He's been threatened with the glue pot on more than one occasion, usually when he's standing on my foot or legging it across the field, lead rope trailing.
The gloss on his coat is real, the piccie doesn't really show it up very well. He also has even shinier dapples. Shame I didn't get the "before" piccie as he was caked in a solid layer of dry mud about an hour before I took that piccie.
Ian, the brickwork? The brickwork? Now that I look at it, I see what you mean. Sadly I'm usually running away from him when he's pounding round the barn so I don't tend to notice the brickwork, only the location of the gates.
Chesstar87, sorry about that, but you looked so peacful snoring your head off that I just couldn't resist

picture is dark
I always like looking at horses, and he's pretty, but how come the picture is so dark that I have to lighten it up to see his features? Or is this a problem just for me and my computer? It seems I'm always having to do that with pictures posted here, copy them into an editor and add quite a bit of light. Have to do that with Schrafinator's avatar for instance, and many other avatars if I want to see the details. But if this is just a problem for me and nobody else, please ignore.
