In the Book of Revelation there is an ambiguous passage concerning the number 144,000. What we know from the Revelations passage is that 144,000 represents the 12 tribes of Israel, each with 12,000. 12 times 12,000 = 144,000."Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have sealed the servants of God on their foreheads." And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel - Revelation 7:3-7What we don't know by reading the passages is who exactly comprises the 12 tribes of Israel and how it relates to the End Times. Could you quote the relevant passages in the Book of Revelation?And could you be specific about "who exactly comprises the 12 tribes of Israel". The book of Numbers goes into some detail about who they are in a broad sense, or were you referring to who they are in modern times?Are you looking for this to go into "Bible Study" - with a more secular stance or are you looking to see what the faithful think of these verses (which might be better in the "Faith and Belief" forum.)
