I don't know if this issue has come up yet, as I just joined this message/discussion board. As you can probably tell from the subject line, I am a Creationist, and a young Earth one at that.
As for the purpose of my prospective thread, I do not see how morality would fit into the idea of evolution as a whole. Granted that random murder is detrimental to the society and therefor not an evolutionary benefit to the society, but if it is profitable to an individual, how can an evolutionist say that it is wrong? Suppose the individual considered others of kind a threat to his survival, or that other males diminshed his mating chance. Would I not be justified in an evolutionary sense to kill the man that *stole* my girlfriend from me to increase my mating chances and pass on my DNA?
