The whole idea of Papal inerrancy sort of reduces to the "The Boss isn't always right, but he's alwaya the boss."
I believe fundamentalist Christians got this messed up when they came to the statement that "God said, that's the end of argument!"
I also believe that the Scriptures are without error. However, this is equivalent to saying that the Law of the Land is the ruler in the courtroom.
The inerrancy of scripture applies only to those who submit to the the faith, and like the Boss, the inconsisyencies are immaterial to the clear and present understandings which are found in this Iron Rod which will rule the denominational nations of Christianity.
In other words, this is all about Semantics.
Rev. 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, (an undeniable interpretation of scripture); as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers, (so the verses, as the individual pieces of a massive puzzle, shall they be separated out from one another): even as I received of my Father, (the Word of the Old Testament).
