THE NUMERICAL SIGNATURE OF GOD* By Edward Aguirre

Science - Knowledge gained through observation or experience...
God has stamped His numerical signature throughout the world of nature. The marvels of nature attest to the existence of God and declare to mankind that "the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power..."(Romans 1:20).
What is the numerical signature of God? The numerical signature of God is the number three as used throughout the Sacred Volume of Biblical Scripture. God is revealed in the Holy Bible as a triune being commonly known as the Trinity, that is, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, therefore, the number 3 is God's special number. God uses the number 3 as a witness of Himself, "For
there are three that bear record in heaven"..."And there are three that bear witness in earth..."(1 John 5: 7,8).
The following partial list of facts demonstrate the numerical signature of God and the harmony of true science and Scripture:
1. God made man in His image as a triune being: 1. Body(shell) 2. Soul(emotions, intellect,
will) 3. Spirit(life)
2. The fingerprints of God are found throughout human anatomy as seen in the many pages which list the groups
of three within its design. For example, skin is the largest organ of the body and consists of
three layers: 1. Epidermis 2. Dermis 3. Hypodermis
3. The Bible states that "God is light"( 1 John 1:5). There are three properties of light: 1. Actinic
2. Calorific 3. Luminiferous
4. There are three phases of matter: 1. Solids 2. Liquids 3. Gases
5. Water, the greatest quantity of the phases of matter on earth, has three molecules.
6. There are three basic dimensions: 1. Length 2. Width 3. Depth
7. There are three primary colors: 1. Yellow 2. Red 3. Blue
8 .The divisions of time are in groups of three's: 1. Years 2. Months 3. Days
1. Hours 2. Minutes 3. Seconds
9. There are three realms in nature: 1. Mineral 2. Vegetable 3. Animal
10. The smallest particle of matter, the atom, has three basic components: 1. Electrons
2. Protons 3. Neutrons
11. The earth is composed of three concentric layers: 1. Crust 2. Mantle 3. Core
12. The earth has a big 3 stamped on it, as it were, since it is the 3rd planet from the
sun.
13. In deep space, in the Eagle Nebula, there are three immense pillars six trillion miles long
consisting of interstellar hydrogen gas and dust.
14. Multiples of three exist also throughout the world of nature without coincidence as noted in the following examples: 1. The nine
planets of the solar system 2. Pulsars(spin 30 times per second) 3. Hexagonal honeycombs 4. Snowflakes(demonstrate God's
infinite diversity since there are no two alike with the same design, but all have six points.
15. The geometric configurations of the Earth and other planets(their circular shapes), which move in mathematical pecision,
predictability and remarkable speed, further reveal the existence of God, the Master Geometrician.
The facts concerning God's numerical signature not only demonstrate His existence, they also expose the theory of evolution. "The fool hath said there is no God" (Psalm 14:1).
Almighty God, the architect of the universe, is the controller of time, matter and space. Unfortunately, the only things He doesn't control are the lives of men who refuse to repent and believe the gospel.
The theory of evolution with its random chance and mindless causes is a hopeless philosophy. The propagation of the evolutionary theory was one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century because of its faith-destroying tenets and its "survival of the fittest" mentality.
The concept of natural selection excludes God but it was He Who created the genes in man and animals and programmed their genetic features including their ability to adapt. God simply made various habitats for His creatures. Therefore, for an animal to get used to a certain environment and increase there is not a new revelation of science or evolutionary theory. God said in the Book of Genesis that men and beast and all creeping things would reproduce after their own kind and it has been this way from the beginning(See Genesis 1:20-28).
After the fall of man into sin, the entire world was affected, so consequently disease, mutations and death ensued as a result. Concerning the evolution vs creation debate, this is an important revelation from Scripture because it explains why there is evil in the world and ferocity within the animal kingdom.
The scientific evidence for creation and the existence of a personal God is now overwhelming in the light of God's numerical signature. The orderliness and the intelligent design of the Creator can be traced and scientifically verified by His numerical signature as seen everywhere. Therefore, the Bible is a trustworthy science book for all students of inquiring minds who also will find in it advanced scientific and medical statements. For example, thousands of years ago it was recorded in Sacred Scripture the importance of blood(See Leviticus 17:11), and that the earth is round and poised in space(See Isaiah 40:22 and Job 26:7). In his book entitled "The Book of Prophecies," Christopher Columbus noted that reading in the Book of Isaiah helped him discover the New World.
God's design, majesty and power are not only seen in the earth but also 7,000 light years away. The Bible says, "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament showeth His handiwork"(Psalm 19:1). The way God accomplished His mighty feats is also revealed in Scripture: "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things that are seen were not made of things which do appear"(Hebrews 11:3). God spoke and the heavenly bodies were created, including all the solids, liquids, gases and energy in the universe.
A further revelation of God's power is found in Psalm 147:4, "He tells the number of stars; He calls them all by their names." There are an estimated seventy-six sextillion stars in the universe, a number said to be greater than all the grains of sand on earth. In consideration of all these things, we have to agree with the words of Psalm 48:1, "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised."

Hi Edward!
I only have a comment about your copyright. First, you can't copyright anything you post here. The copyright for EvC Forum belongs to me. Second, you can't copywrite excerpts from someone else's book anyway.

Oh, lord...not the "cosmic three" argument again.
Of course, some of the claims simply aren't true:
3) There are many more properties of light than just three. In fact, to describe electromagnetism requires four equations, not three (Maxwell's equations)
4) There are four phases of matter: Solid, liquid, gas, plasma. In fact, plasma is the most common phase of matter in the universe. And if you take the pressure and temperature above the critical point, you can no longer distinguish between liquid and gas and you get a fluid.
5) Water is not the most common phase on earth. The earth is composed primarily of minerals. There is a light coating of water on the surface, but that's it.
6) Normal physics knows four dimensions: The three of space and the one of time. More advanced physics shows that there may be 10 spatial dimensions.
7) There is no good way to define "primary colors." The one given is for subtractive color. Additive color is different (RGB). And we have found that some women have two different alleles for green light and thus, they have four "primary" colors. And that's only for humans. Other animals have even more variations in their visual pigments and thus have even more primary colors.
8) You have forgotten the meridiems. It isn't just hours: It's hours am and hours pm.
9) There are many more "realms" in nature such as monera and fungi. Bacteria and mushrooms are neither plant nor animal nor mineral.
10) The atom is not the smallest particle of matter and electrons, protons, and neutrons aren't, either. While they are made of three quarks, there are 20 different types of quarks. And if string theory is right, even quarks aren't the smallest thing.
11) There are more layers to the earth than just core/mantle/crust.
14) Not all pulsars ping at 30 times a second. Honeycomb is in hexagons because of physics. Not all ice is hexagonal. At temperatures below -80C, ice is cubic. Ice-three is tetragonal, ice-four is rhombohedral, ice-five is monoclinic, etc., etc.
15) The movements of the planets cannot be calculated. We have yet to be able to solve the three-body problem. We can only approximate the answer numerically.
Of course, there are plenty of "threes" in the world. But there are just as many other numbers, too. The divisions of a complete day form a two, day and night. There are four classical elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. And if you believe the classicists, there is a fifth element, Quintessence. There are four phases of the moon. There are seven days in a week. And on and on.
You are looking for threes and seeing them everywhere while ignoring all of the non-threes that are just as common.

Disproving Rrhain. God's 3's everywhere!
Rrhain,
Water is the most abundant of the phases of matter ON earth. You misread the article. There are three things involved in all those examples regardless of what you say. I know about quarks but there is still the electrons, protons and neutrons, an interesting group of three that were not put there by accident. Atheists and scoffers of Christianity will try to find something wrong to dispute the truth and turn it upside down in a vain attempt to try to disprove the divine origin of all things. Plasma contains gas by definition and so there still remains the three main phases. Men can alter the elements and rearrange their chemical structure and call it something else. Plasma doesn't change the fact that there are 3 basic phases of matter.
The manipulation of ice crystals is another example of twisting the truth. I mentioned snowflakes and you tried to refute their six-sided characteristic when ice crystals are subjected to conditions that will change their chemical structure. This kind of thing happens all the time in the food industry for example when they process food with high heat and also in microwave ovens. Snowflakes, therefore, are NORMALLY six-sided but you can't seem to give the Creator the praise for His infinite diversity. There are no two alike and this didn't happen by random chance or evolutionary processes.
Honeycombs are hexagonal(six-sided) no matter what you say. The bee was programmed by the Almighty to do all the remarkable things it does. God made physics also. Honeycombs are six-sided not because of physics as you say but because of the Creator.
The Earth is basically in three concentric layers. You can always add more layers in your back yard.
You didn't mention the names of pulsars that don't spin 30 times per second.
There are 24 hours in a day(12 AM and 12 PM). AM and PM don't change anything. By the way the word "meridians" is not spelled "meridiems."
There are 3 BASIC dimensions as I stated. Of course there is the dimension of eternity outside of time where God dwells and all the redeemed.
Everything seen through the eyes is seen through 3 color receptors in cone cells, therefore, there are three primary colors. These are also recognized by artists everywhere.
The human physical structure has God's fingerprints throughout it, the same as the world of nature. Of course there are other nuimbers in nature besides three and this fact also disproves evolution because all this math, symmetry and design didn't pop out of primordial soup. The structure of the human body is organized into groups of three with remarkable frequency, when listed fill at least 12 pages. The human body is truly the "temple of God"(1 Corinthians 3). "God is light" and and has reveals the Trinity in the 3 properties of light. Light is divided into seven colors of the spectrum, another important Bible number. The Holy Bible is the Word of God.

Re: Disproving Rrhain. God's 3's everywhere!
Edward Aguirre responds to me:
quote:
Water is the most abundant of the phases of matter ON earth.
Incorrect for at least two reasons.
First, water isn't a phase. It's a substance. Second, water isn't the most abundant substance on earth. Water only forms a light coating on the surface.
Unless you are taking a truly naive definition of the word "on," the statement simply isn't true. Yes, most of the surface of the earth is covered with water, but so what? That isn't the earth. The whole of the earth is the earth and most of the earth is not composed of water.
quote:
You misread the article.
No, I read it just fine. It was an attempt to prove some cosmic significance to the number 3. In the process, it overlooked things known not to be three while attempting to make them be three and it completely ignored things that aren't three but are some other number.
quote:
Plasma contains gas by definition
Incorrect. Plasma, by definition, is not gas. Gas is a phase and plasma is a phase. The two are not the same. Now, gas and plasma are both fluid, as is liquid, but that is something else entirely.
quote:
Plasma doesn't change the fact that there are 3 basic phases of matter.
Incorrect.
Plasma definitively shows that there are not three phases of matter but four. Solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. Too, plasma is the most common phase of matter in the universe.
quote:
The manipulation of ice crystals is another example of twisting the truth.
Incorrect. There is no "manipulation" involved. The crystallization of water is a simple matter of temperature and pressure. At normal atmospheric pressure, ice forms non-hexagonal crystals if the temperature is right.
It isn't like humans can physically pick up individual water molecules and force them to bond the way we want. The water will behave the way it does due to the action of physics. Go to Google, look up "phase diagram water," and see for yourself. There are a dozen different ways ice can crystallize. Some of them are hexagonal, but not all.
The world is much more complicated than you make it out to be.
quote:
I mentioned snowflakes
I'm talking about snowflakes, too. Do you claim that it never gets that cold on earth? Not all ice crystals are hexagonal, Edward. Just get over it.
quote:
Honeycombs are hexagonal(six-sided) no matter what you say.
Indeed, they are. But that is a function of geometry and physics, not something of grand cosmic significance.
Here's an experiment. Take some billiard balls and put them in a layer such that they form a stable structure. You'll find that each individual ball is surrounded by six others. There's no magic going on here. It's just the way geometry works.
In a honeycomb, the bees are essentially creating a bunch of round cells and stacking them up in a stable structure. But perfectly round cells, as you can see from the billiard ball example, would leave empty spaces. So, just flatten them out and, since you're got six adjacent members, you end up with hexagons.
And note, that's a 6, not a 3.
quote:
The Earth is basically in three concentric layers.
Incorrect. The earth is naively in three layers. Basically, it is much more than that. The mantle has very distinct differences as does the core.
quote:
You didn't mention the names of pulsars that don't spin 30 times per second.
(*blink!*)
You did not just say that, did you?
Are you actually claiming that every single pulsar spins at 30 times per second? And that the reason that this is so is because I haven't provided you with a particular name?
Does the phrase "look it up for yourself" mean nothing to you? Did you even bother to do the research for yourself before you even posted?
From the Goddard Flight Center:
Einstein's Gravitational Waves May Set Speed Limit for Pulsar Spin
Some pulsars gain speed by pulling in gas from a neighboring star, reaching spin rates of nearly one revolution per millisecond, or almost 20 percent light speed. These "millisecond" pulsars would fly apart if they gained much more speed.
Now, how many times per second does a pulsar spin if it is revolving at one revolution per millisecond.
That's right: 1000 times per second. Thats a lot more than 30. It turns out that pulsars can spin no faster than about 700 times per second, from what we can tell of the pulsars that have been studied.
But if you want a specific one, try N157B. It has a spin rate of once per 16 milliseconds, or more than 60 times per second.
Methinks that you simply looked up the pulsar in the Crab nebula, which has a period of 33 ms, which is a little over 30 times per second.
quote:
There are 24 hours in a day
Again, not 3.
quote:
(12 AM and 12 PM). AM and PM don't change anything.
But that divides the day into two parts, not three.
quote:
By the way the word "meridians" is not spelled "meridiems."
I know.
What makes you think the "m" in "am" and "pm" stands for "meridian"?
Time for the Latin lesson:
What does "am" stand for? In Enlgish, that would be "before the middle of the day." Now, how would you say that in Latin?
Well, "before" is "ante." "Middle" is "meri" and "day" is "diem." Thus, "am" stands for "ante meridiem."
Similarly, "pm" is "after the middle of the day." In Latin, "after" is "post" and again, "middle" is "meri" and "day" is "diem." Thus, "pm" stands for "post meridiem."
"Meridian," on the other hand, is a geographical term, referring to a great circle route that goes through the poles of a sphere.
quote:
There are 3 BASIC dimensions as I stated.
But if string theory is true, there is no such thing as a "basic" dimension. The other six spatial are just as important.
And I don't know about you, but time is just as "basic" a dimension.
quote:
Everything seen through the eyes is seen through 3 color receptors in cone cells
Incorrect. Everything seen through the eyes is seen through two color receptors. There is a red-green and a blue-yellow. That's what the Lab color model simulates. There is a single color channel, "a," that goes from pink to green, a second single color channel, "b," that goes from blue to yellow. Combined with luminosity, "L," you get the entire visual spectrum.
Some women are blessed with a third pigment, but there aren't that many. And other animals have many more than we do.
quote:
These are also recognized by artists everywhere.
Incorrect. Artists who work with color know that there is much more to it than that. I recall the final exam in my stagecraft class. You are given the task of creating a light design where you have a single set of strip lights with four channels. What colors do you use and why?
The simple answer is to come up with an RGB set for three of the channels and a special for the fourth as this will allow you to get a pure white when all of the RGB are together.
But the more sophisticated answer is to follow a two-channel system. By using two contrasting colors, you can get a pure white from those two channels and this will give you an extra channel to use for a special.
quote:
The human physical structure has God's fingerprints throughout it
But the human physical structure isn't based on threes. We have five digits on the extremeties and four limbs. Our bodies are bilaterally symmetrical (on the surface). There is very little that is "three" in the human body.
quote:
all this math, symmetry and design didn't pop out of primordial soup.
Yes, it does. That is the hallmark of a natural process. Design tends to stick to a single process. Natural systems are filled with symmetries.
You need to go back to school and take a class in Discrete Mathematics. No, not "discreet"...that means "modest." I mean "discrete" as in "noncontinuous." It is the mathematics of chaos. You'll easily see how simple structures create complex patterns and how even the most convoluted structures have patterns in them.

Re: Disproving Rrhain. God's 3's everywhere!
I disagree, I think proof of God's design is blaringly obvious with his repetition of the number 4 in the universe. Any chance happenings of Three you find are simply chance events... the real proof is found is in the fours. Four is far superior to three because it's bigger.
there are 4 points on the cross, and 4 authors of the bible.
there are 4 layers of the atmosphere, and 4 legs on most land animals. 4 chambers of the heart, 4 hemispheres on the globe, and four quadrants of the galaxy (just out of curiosity do real astronomers make this distinction, or is this just from star trek?)
your first post contains 1,084 words (divisible by four, has the number 4 in the last digit, and contains 8 (also divisible by four)) and 1,084 has four numbers.
Your first post, point number FOUR is incorrect, and should actually state there are FOUR states of matter (plasma).
Your fist post also contained the number 4 eight times, which is divisible by four. And your FOURTH post contains 40 lines of text.
Removing vowels from the english alphabet leaves 22 letters, 2 + 2 equals 4. Adding 2 and 6 (leaving vowels in) gives us 8 (divisible by four).
and a site I found through google probably goes into more detail(i didn't read it because i think it's nonsense) Search Ireland's No. 1 Property Website | Daft.ie
another google site:
http://www.geocities.com/iamthekey_2000/simple.html
tells us when add a special way Jesus, Gospel, Cross, Messiah, and Jewish give us answers of 444.

And you forgot about Bose-Einstein condensates!

Re: Re:Rrhain/Nosy and Godless evolution
Nouns in the English language: The Oxford English Dictionary has 615,000 words; while nouns are by far the most common words, lets just say they're only 50% of words.
Estimated average number of traits per noun that can be described numerically: Let's guess that it averages about 10. It's realistically many times more - I could say that a "coup" has 4 wheels, the car has two wiper blades, has 1 trunk, has 3 seats, has 1 engine, has 2 doors, .... (etc). But we'll be overly kind.
Estimated number of numerical traits describable by nouns that occur commonly enough to be in the dictionary: 3,075,000
Estimated number of traits that are divisible by three (given one in three odds): 1,025,000
Assuming an exponential distribution, even with a large mean, you're still going to have thousands of results returned. The lower your mean (and I would argue that a low mean is realistic in this scenario), the higher the percentage of the 615,000 will be equal to three. A mean value of 10 would give 227827 threes as traits to commonly used nouns in the English language.

Re: Disproving Rrhain. God's 3's everywhere!
Theomorphic,
I disagree, I think proof of God's design is blaringly obvious with his repetition of the number 4 in the universe. Any chance happenings of Three you find are simply chance events... the real proof is found is in the fours. Four is far superior to three because it's bigger.
there are 4 points on the cross, and 4 authors of the bible.
and 4 legs on most land animals
Nope, most land animals have six legs, they are insects.
4 chambers of the heart
Hearts can have varying chambers, from one to four.
4 hemispheres on the globe
That would be two HEMIspheres, by definition!!!
and four quadrants of the galaxy
If you divide anything by four you will have four parts, pretty obviously. That would be like saying there are two halves to something.
And even if you include "plasma" as a phase, that makes five. Solid, liquid, gas, plasma, & Bose-Einstein condensate.
You didn't really think that through, did you?
Mark
[added by edit- Rei got to the Bose-Einstein condensate first, bugger]
