From Lam's new signature line:
The longest word in the English language is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.
I've often wondered how long we could go with all of the scientific prefixes and suffixes out there. It isn't very difficult to make Lam's word longer by simply adding to the beginning and end of it.
before: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
after: antipseudopneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosigenesis
Anyone else care to add?
