Right now, this means "mike the wiz".
One can lurk as long as one wishes, or be a message posting "visitor" for a while, but you're long overdue, to be posting as a registered member.
You claim you have registered, but didn't receive your password.
Apparently you didn't register as "mike the wiz", for then the system would not let you post as the unregistered "mike the wiz".
I suggest you contact Admin (admin@), and straighten this out. He is the person that takes care of such technical problems. Tell him the name you registered under.
You are very close to getting banned, an action which would probably also ban you as a registered member.

Minnemooseus,
I never got an admin response to a question about changing my registered name. I used truthlover in my first post, because it served a purpose, and I didn't think I'd be sticking around. Now I'm sticking around, and I think the name's a little arrogant.
Is there a way to just change it, or do I have to register all over again and start at post 1?
I thought if I replied to you, you'd see it and get back to me. I hope this works. Thanks.

Hi TruthLover,
Personally, I like this name a lot.
Sorry not to get back to you when you originally asked. Your question provoked a lot of cogitation, and for a while I considered the possibility of embarcking on a software update that would provide some new capabilities, possibly including the one you want, but once I scoped it out it was clear that I didn't have the necessary time.
One reason I never replied to you was because I was not able to quickly decide whether allowing people to change their member ID was a good idea or not, and I'm still not sure.
Anyway, I don't see any big bracket of free time in my future, so don't look for changes in the near term. For now, if you feel strongly about changing your name from truthlover to something else then you'll have to re-register.

Thanks, Admin. Don't do any software updates on my account. If re-registering is the only way, it's not that big a deal.
