Gods Riddle or a Human Puzzle?
Ptolemy..I saw your webpage. Biblical Creation Defeats Science | A Literal Interpretation
Are you Victor? I will say this much. You have formed a lot of verbage. While I won't go so far as to call it gibberish...I will agree that most people will not understand it. Lets take one bite at a time.
Victor, I am concerned that you will go off on a rant. I browsed your website. It is evident that you have spent a lot of work on a thesis which you strongly believe. You are not wrong in expressing yourself so eloquently. I am a believer and unlike most other moderators at this site (except for Jar) I believe in God as a personal reality.
They will challenge your premise mercilessly. You seem quite sure of what you say. I am going to let you have a topic if you give us a concise and limited opening as suggested.(three paragraphs per Ned)
I will not hesitate to prevent you from using EvC as a platform for your form of belief.
I will say that you seem wise, polite, and as sane as any of us Believers!

Re: CLIFF NOTES version
I spent about a year on the OriginsTalk list mostly debating with Grant. I am Victor - ptolemy1022 on that list.
Here is a randomly selected link to one of my exchanges with Grant.

Some of my exegesis has been checked in Greek by the president of a small fundamentalist Bible institute. He agrees that is valid and has published a paper of mine on this subject in his magazine. He also strongly encouraged me to keep studying and writing. I know of no one else who writes about first principles based on a literal exegesis of the scriptures.
I am not trying to say I am smart - I am trying to show Christians that only God is wise - and His Word really does triumph over human reasoning. He is not a deceiver. He even warns us that when we seek to be wise in this age we deceive ourselves.
Why would God want to defeat the wisdom of the world? I Corinthians 1 - He will destroy the wisdom of the wise because through their wisdom they did not come to know Him. He chose the foolishness of the cross of Christ so that no one would boast before Him.
I will spend some time trying to make a short paragraph or two about how the simplest evidence supports the Bible.

OK. I will close this PNT and will be on the lookout for your new improved starter topic. If it looks tight, I or one of the other administrators will set you up.
Speaking for myself, I am not watching you closely because you are stupid. I am watching you closely because you are so full of your theory and belief that I need to keep you in check.
Your work does not impress me as scientific or even orthodox theological, but it is commendable as an idea.
