Wise (I assume the old Newsmax poster by that username), I'm formerly the old buzzboy, one of Newsmax's early and long time posters. My suggestion to you here is to understand that this is not the old Newsmax and is run much more efficiently and differently than was Newsmax. i don't know where you've been all the while, but you'll find that you will get along much better here if you go to the Proverbs and do a reading by the world's greasted ever Mr Wise, King Solomon. He'll advise you as to what real wisdom is. He'll instruct you on how to conduct yourself in situations like this, respecting those in authority, who go to great effort in providing for us all at no expense to us a great place like has been set up here where we are afforded the wonderful priviledge of communicating with citizens of all faiths, nations who have a broad scope of all kinds of knowledge, philosophies, experience and ideas for all to share. Moose is one of those in charge here with authority who is making suggestions, I say suggestions to us all as to how to make freeforall to work efficiently so as to not have the need to shut it down, but rather to fix it.
So I've said the above to you to say this: Live up to your username or change it. Be wise and be at least respectful to Moose and others here in authority and who are sincerely working hard to make it the fine place it has become for us all to enjoy. Ok bud? And remember another saying of Wise Old King Solomon. "Better is the wound of a friend than the kiss of an enemy."
Your friend, buz
My Dear Friend Buzz,
That is fine and as you have noticed I have not posted anywhere else on this forum out of respect to the Admin. They excersize a great deal of control over the other forums.
But this IS a FFA forum that states:
"Anything goes, no holds barred, flame on"
I am well within the confined rules, so to speak. Now if Mr. Moose wishes to change the FFA HEADING to something different then that is fine and I will succomb. But until then, I am within the guidelines.
Now if the Admin wishes to say:
"Most things go, some hold barred, little flaming"
Then THAT is a different story.
FFA means just that, free for all.
Wise

No, really. Who said it was "thick enough to walk on"??????
It "has been said" and THAT is up to you to do the research
Now, is it possible that the God of the Bible resides behind this structure with what looks to be an apparent angel wing in front of it?
Or at least a god, whatever that god is?

Bull. You made the claim, it's your responsibility to back it up. Sounds ludicrous to me, based on my knowledge of nebulae. Most nebulae are more rarified than the best Earth-based vacuum.

Of course it's possible. It's also possible He lives in Newark.

Wrong again. Do men cry when they have these so called mood swings?
Did I say they did?
A woman can one day be happy and the next day in tears. Do you see the same behavior in men?
Yes, only it's within hours, not days. 24 hour hormonal cycle, you see.
Trouble with you is that you have be successfully "feminized" by our culture.
To the contrary, I'm the manliest man you're ever likely to meet. If you'd care to come to Prior Lake, MN, I'll prove it to you. We can duel with any weapon you choose.
But there's nothing manly about sexism. In fact it shows what a weak man you are that any time you're faced with the idea that a woman in charge thinks you're doing something wrong, you have to chalk it up to PMS and hormones - anything but actually taking a look at your own behavior.
Pathetic, Wise. You're a pathetic excuse for a man.
Is this the God of the Bible? Is this what the ancients saw?
No, it's a light source. Jeez, do you see God in light bulbs, too?

How many do you know that do?
Irrelevant. We are talking about mood swings in both men and women. Just because me may not cry as a result of their mood swings does not mean that they do not have them; they just express them differently.
Men may not cry with these mood swings, but they might storm around and not talk to anyone, or they might pick a fight with someone, or they might go off and drive too fast or go to the bar and drink too much.

Nope. AND IF you do, give me an example.
Like I said. A man might be happy one day and not talk to anyone the next.
I work with a couple of men who behave exactly in this way. My father acted this way fairly frequently.

Of course it's possible. It's also possible He lives in Newark.
And Newark has a cloud with something behind it 1 MILLION times brighter than our sun?
See the difference??
But your admission that this POSSIBLY could be the God of the Bible is *noted.
The Eta Carina "fits the bill" for a God that is described in the Bible to be "hidden", often behind "clouds". And is OFTEN described as "light".
Now, if you ARE a TRUE Scientists this MUST be CONSIDERED. Otherwise your only motive would be to disbelieve irregardless of the evidence.

Pathetic, Wise. You're a pathetic excuse for a man.
What behavior? The presentation of FACTS?
You know not wist you speak
Must I state the FACTS again? Don't you know that you as a man are a "onesided brain creature"? And that women use BOTH sides of their brain simutaneously? I suppose you did not.
Women are decidedly different and perhaps that SHOULD come under another topic as I do not wish to ruin Mr. Mooses thread. Please note that I at FIRST referred to Mr. Moose as a "him".
I STILL think you have been feminized. I at once was an avid weight lifter (power lifter and body builder) and still possess the body of someone much younger, although some age has crept up on me. Abeit I could still defeat you with my remaining strength and wisdom. But strength of body is one thing and strength of mind is another. I possess the knowledge of 25 years of marriage (no divorce) and understand women a little better than 25 years ago. Do you?
I doubt it. YOU have been feminized to believe certain things...things that will one day ruin you.
But THAT is your choice
And YES, PMS and hormones IS a FACTOR in many women, whether you choose to accept it or not.
Ever hear of menopause?
I doubt it.

My dear, it is called testosterone and estrogen.
Ever hear of them?
Crashfrog is a "modern" man that has been feminized. He does NOT understand the differences.
Women actually have GREATER verbal abilities due to the use of both sides of the brain at the same time. Men on the other hand have greater SPATIAL abilities than women.FACT.
Women make great teachers and nurses and other such professions. Men are invetive and can "hit the target" so to speak and make great architects, inventors and other such professions. Now that is NOT TO SAY that either or cannot be reversed BUT it tends to be the "rule".

Ok, wise guy, but, again, as you proceed, better reconsider my suggestion to read up on all time world wisdom champ, King Solomon, who states over and over that truly wise men will love reproof, instruction and counsel. Go ahead and as a plebe freshment, march into town here and antagonize about everybody in town by anouncing loudly how this place should be run so as to suit you. Is this how you conduct yourself as a Christian when you are a guest in someone's nice home where they feed you and put you up for the night?
Alexander the Great, as I've heard tell, once had a soldier who showed cowardice in battle by the name of Alexander. The soldier was called up before Alexander, who sternly insisted that he either change his ways or change his name. Get the point, Wise, me friend?
We all hope you'll wiseup, settle down and enjoy the forum. There's plenty of opportunity allowed here for constructive criticism. Administration seems sincere in continually looking for ways to improve the operation by hearing respectful input from all sectors. Btw, be forwarned..........if that means, in their view, showing disrespectful guests the door, that they will do!

I have done (or at least attempted) some topic drift control in "Free For All" forum topics before. Previous to "Wise", I don't believe anyone has objected to this.
All that I am proposing, is that the above quoted forum rule also apply to the "Free For All" forum, and that this be put into the description of that forum. Otherwise, with someone like "Wise" participating, there might as well not even be a designated topic.
Now, I would also suggest that members stop using the "Free For All" forum for new topics, unless you have a specific reason to think the topic belongs there. I would guess that there is no reason why 90 percent of the existing "FFA" topics could not have been started in one of the other forums. "FFA" topic starters might also consider requesting that a topic be moved to one of the other forums.
Likewise, I would also suggest that members stop using the "Welcome, Visitors!" forum for new topics.

Look..it is an ASSERTION backed up by Biblical passages that SUPPORT the ASSERTION.
NOW, It has been said here that Christianity has HURT Science. But now , just THINK a moment.... What is actually hurting Science NOW when it comes to the possibility that a god COULD exist within the Keyhole Nebula with Biblical passages to SUPPORT it?
It is the Atheist/evolutionist that are NOW suppressing Science!
Is it possible that the Eta Carina is hiding the Biblical God that you say does NOT exist?
To a Scientist...or should I say "true" Scientist, this ought to be fascinating, but you are viewing it as something that threatens to topple atheism and thereby rejecting it.

I have no problems with a proposal, but until it becomes law I can only adhere to it on a nod or a wink. If you have it placed within the FFA forum rules I will adhere to it or go.

Yeah---O.K. Buzz,
You're are one of those overly submissive Christians submitting to everything. Warning though...better be careful, you just might submit yourself out of existance.

Now it might be best if this was put BACK ON TOPIC, or somewhere close.
Should the FFA stay "as is"?
