Re: An Interesting Find
Brennakimi,

If you read my responses to Parsimonious Razor, you will see that I 1/ understand what sexual selection is, & 2/ accept his rationale for itas regards melanisation in humans.

You have hopelessly confused the issue by asserting that males prefer lighter females, & females darker men. As has been pointed out to you by both contracycle & myself, & you have utterly failed to address the issues raised, namely that this leads to pressures both for & against melanisation. At best it maintains sexual dimorphism, but does not drive it in either direction.

Do you understand? It would have been helpful if you had attempted to understand the corollary of your assertion earlier, & you would have saved us both time. Do you see your error?

Mark

There are 10 kinds of people in this world; those that understand binary, & those that don't

Re: An Interesting Find
blah blah blah.

to avoid looking into a subject beyond the easy 'i'm not going to look like a bad person if i use this argument' idea (as this thread did until i came along) is stupid. people are different. none is inferior (except stupid people who don't try for more) but all are different and if we don't figure out why then we can only be trapped in more ignorance. me not wanting (or more specifically not caring) people to accuse me of racism simply because i sought out different options has nothing to do with theosophists. stupid people are stupid.

bugger off.

Yes thats true. And overnight, I hacve decided that you are completely stupid. Becuase it takes a total retard, IMO, to assert that the only people who worry about racism are "causing trouble". You clearly live in a fantasy land of your own imagination.

Re: An Interesting Find
no. people who accuse people of racism while involved in an intellectual discussion (in which foolish things like racism have no place) are being argumentative and irritating.

and you are participating in personal attacks and i don't appreciate it.

Why? Again you forget reality - that eugenics and race-dominance theories were perfectly respectable and have a good intellectual pedigree. you can;t just start from the assumption that everyone thinks racism is foolosih - even if thats what you believe, you cannot project it onto others. This is the internet for fucks sake how hard is it to verufy this delusional perception? Even on this very board racism has been tolerated and condoned, and yet you pretend to find it so unthinkable that you can freely assume that anyone suggesting a problem is malicious. Get real.
