Here's an idea. Can do a better version later if u guys want. Ofcourse, the idea is that the poor lil Lam won't miss out on his little red arrow.

Bit different.
Design one
Design two, in two sizes.

Re: My second design
Glad u like Berbs/Asgara.
you can do a whole new design in a complete button set. Just remember to make a regular and a mouseover version of each.
Mouseover?

Re: My second design
I think I get the mouseover thing now.
Do you want a complete set of buttons? "edit" etc?
I want a million dollars upfront.

Re: DEAR ADMINs
I hope this meets everyone's requirements. They took a bit more work than anticipated. I definitely think the buttons being used now are awful, and so I think these new ones should add that touch of quality to a quality site, with quality admins.
PS. One thing I notice with the ones being used at the moment, is that they seem to be set so that when you hover they become clearer. Maybe it should be the opposite?..Well, just a thought anyway - and it might help readability.

Re: My second design
Gosh. You might have to wait a while. I saved the big versions luckily.
Would I have to make the mouseover with explanitory text? How big would that be? Would there be room? (I'm not a web designer - I have no idea unfortunately).
The complimentary colours are a great idea. Thanks for the link. So you'd want the visible text as a dark colour like maroon or black?
And would you want mouseovers to remain as I have created them, or more clear aswell?
Be patient with me.

Re: My second design
What do you think of something like this? It's a rush job to give you an example. This would be the observable text. For the mouseover I might fade out the background while leaving the text dark?

This set is my first set. Tomorrow I will produce another.
I think this one suits the website, as requaested by Admin/Percy. Tomorrow I'll do my best to make a set that suits your needs RAZD, aswell as the website style. And hopefully one set will be used.
I still think the first set beats what is currently used though.

Do any of these meet your requirements?
I think the second one meets our needs. I think I should do a second set like this design. I'm not sure you'll get your wish about explanitory text though. How desperately do you want it?

SET 2
This is the second set. This hopefully solves RAZD's reading problem, while Lam gets his lrrb, and Asgara gets her font. The prgoram I/m using is very bad for small text application, i.e. extra explanitory texts. But if Percy could add this somehow? If not I could possibly attempt a go with PSP7 but it might be difficult.
Personally - I think this set should be implemented.
Here is set one. I leave it up to the Adminites.

Re: SET 2
I've just created an explanitory text. It seems to work okay. I'll provide the mouseovers to set two with explanitory texts, ASAP.

Asgara, here are the alternatives mouseovers for set 2.
I hope they're good enough.
Example, The button as it would appear visibly would be;
And the same for the rest, using the ones from message 40.
