Ned, I knew someone would say that, but I never thought it would be you (I thought you were far too smart, honest). So, despite my respect for you, I must quickly dismantle your poor concept.
First:
The GDI "answer" pretends to actually know and the inquiry stops.
Sorry, but that doesn't fly. The wonders of God are infinite; I have yet to cease from being amazed by the secrets that continue to reveal themselves from God's word and Science (I've been at it for 27 years now, with no end in sight). The inquiry never stops. The problem is when we try to put God into a box; when we try to explain the universe from INSIDE the universe (like trying to explain a computer from INSIDE the computer, with NO knowledge of what exists OUTSIDE the computer). No, the inquiry continues. I wish you could experience and understand this reality.
Ned writes:
The GDI answer has failed over and over throughout history.
Ummm... WHAT? How did you arrive at that conclusion? Doesn't even make sense. Not even as a bold statement.
As for your horse, my advice is: Don't bet on horses.
But now we're off topic.
