Because God creates people to be different. I haven't read anything on this girl but the idea God would gift everyone the same seems a little childish.

She seems like a wonderful Christian girl, and I wish her the best. However, I find it odd to consider her the genius that the web-site attributes to her. The fact she can be a good poet and painter, at the same time, is not altogether remarkable.But she does some good art. I wouldn't call it museum quality, but I think she has found a good niche for herself, and I suspect her religious convictions are genuine. Hope she wins lots of people to the Lord and has a wonderful life!

Faith, I looked at the website briefly and wonder how you come to those conclusions. I don't see her as New Age. Where do you see this stuff?

Well, she is a child and her parents were atheists so maybe she is testifying of God and Jesus the best she knows how. I mean give the girl some time. To say she is New Age in the manner you mean it suggests something else than what the site shows. Plus, they are trying to sell art. Maybe the more generic stuff is what they feel comfortable putting out up-front, and more comes for those that want it.

I thought she showed a little more promise earlier as a painter, but people go through phases and she's making a ton of money it seems. So good for her. I just hope as she grows older, she explores the more emotional side of painting a little more, but she may just go into installations or some such.

It may not be selling out and I doubt it is for her. Children place a bigger emphasis on realism than most other people, in assessing their own art.
