I find that non-Christians are more hypocritical at funerals. They'll say things like, "He's in a better place," even though they don't believe in such a place.
Frankly I have found myself being highly hypocritical at funerals.
But given that I see them as social occasions where those that need to hear such things are told such things - I rate my hypocrisy as limited and well intended.
It just doesn't seem right to point out at someones funeral that instead of eternal raptuous joy ("eternal raptuous joy" - WTF! that sounds truly awful to me!!!) I am instead evidentially advocating that they will be nothing but worm food.
What would you have me do not to be hypocritical?
