"Ignorance of the law is no excuse"

Hi riverrat.If ignorance of the law could exhonorate someone then there would be no need for a justice system.It behooves one to familiarize themselves of the state statutes on driving, weapons and such.For example it is illegal in Texas to carry on ones person a bowie knife.
Also if the knife is greater than 5 1/2 inches long it is considered a illegal knife. That puts most fillet knives into the illegal category.
