Robotic cameral footage confirms Ron Wyatts chariots
You might enjoy listening to the audio broadcast, Michael Rood, End times archaelogy http://www.thegospel.org/pages/pclub.asp Michael Rood say that they have got the chariots wheels on video, using a high tech robotic underwater camera, they crossed the straits of turin, and recorded it all on video, etc...
P.S. Ron Wyatt was a good guy after all, and its been captured on film, etc...
You will be on the edge of your seat as you watch underwater robotic camera footage of the coral encrusted remains of Pharaoh’s chariots and army as they were strewn across the underwater land bridge in the Yam Suph (Red Sea).

Re: Michael Rood
In Post #16, Whatever recommends Websites promoting Michael Rood seminars, etc.
Some info regarding Michael Rood:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"**Rood predicted in the 1990s that the seventh millennium of earth's existence would begin on sunset, September 11, 1999, which he says is Tishri 1, 6001 on the Hebrew calendar. This would begin the "intermediate events," before the rapture of the Church. He generally interpreted the "intermediate events" to be the seven year Great tribulation which would include collapse of the world economy, world chaos, appearance of the Antichrist, the establishment of a global government, attack on Israel, nuclear attack on America, revolution in the United States, martial law, invasion of America by the armies of Russia, China and other countries, destruction of most of America and the death of most Americans. He summarizes this list in Mystery of Iniquitysaying "America will be smashed by Russia, and Russia will be smashed by God as they attempt to invade Israel" (p.48).
The specific date of these events is extremely important to Rood. He claims that the current Hebrew calendar is wrong (see below for more on this concept), and that the seventh millennium would occur on Tishri 1, 6001, which he asserted was September 11, 1999. This date was so important to Rood that he named his web site http://www.6001.com. He was very disappointed when the political catastrophes did not follow this date, but still warns that their arrival is imminent."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And how does Rood feel about public education and the theory of evolution?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Rood's ideas about the end times include a heavy dose of conspiracy theory. In an advertisement for his seminars, Rood wrote, "...Atheist have taken over the corridors of power in Washington.... We are on a headlong plunge into the terror of a plan for a world government who answer to no God, and their power limited by no man. Through the illegal Department of Re-Education, atheists have trashed our constitution and polluted the minds of our children with the raw sewage of evolution...." (Advertisement for seminar on Revelation, Bible Prophecy and the New World Order, Feb 23-25; 1998, reiterated in Mystery of Iniquity, p. 70 under the subtitle "The Fiery Judgement of America")."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And how does Rood feel about the Christian Church in general and their constitutionally established tax exempt status in the U.S.?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"**Rood constantly criticizes the Christian church at large as being "Babylon," which is full of "pagan traditions" and under "full deception" (web site and Lubbock brochure). He advocates that people leave the Christian church to follow him and his teachings, which his web site calls "journey out of Babylon." One of the tapes by Rood sold on Forbidden is described as, "The Doctrine of the Nicolaitains 90-minute audio tape defines and exposes the present-day reality of Nicolaitanism as it thrives in the hierarchical structure of the modern 'Church.'"
He specifically denounces tax-exempt status and says he does not believe in 501c3 organizations. However, he apparently has begun using that himself when he asks for donations personally and on his web site. Rood gives donors two options: mail donations to Two Harbors if donors don't want a receipt, or to his foundation in Oregon it they do."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Interesting guy, this Rood. Shades of David Koresh.
So, how many of the creationists and devout Christians are gonna pony-up with Michael Rood?
This Rood dude is the kind of person that actually makes me want to pray for the human condition.
Ooops. Forgot to assign credit for the information given above. All information regarding Rood came from a lengthy article with much more detail available at: http://www.abouttheway.com/spl_rood.htm
Peace.

Re: Michael Rood
I'm only interested in the robotic camera, and the video of the pharohs chariots, it does appear Michael Rood, talks about other issues, not related to the Red Sea, but this thread is about the Red Sea, and the crossing of the Exodus, you all have proof that the exodus crossing happened at the strait of turin(Red Sea), that God caused the Red Sea to part, the pharohs chariot's have been found, captured on video, its not a fable, it really happened, etc...

Re: Michael Rood
Hi,
I will ask you the same question that I asked Richard Rive, although he failed to answer.
Where does the Hebrew Bible claim that the Israelites crossed the Red Sea?
Brian.

Re: Michael Rood
Exodus chapter 14 & 15, talks about the Yam Suph (Red Sea), however, Ron Wyatt chariots have been captured by modern robotic video, confirming it was the crossing site, etc...
P.S. The bible does say they drowned in the Red Sea kjv Exodus 15:4, the depths covered the chariots, and that they sank as a stone to the bottom, etc... kjv exodus 15:5.

Re: Michael Rood
Hi Whatever,
Thankyou for your reply, I read the link you posted and I have to inform you that the author's translation of Yam Suph is incorrect. We have discussed this here at EvC a few times and hopefully this message all clarify how your source has mistranslated yam suph. If I were you I would be a little more critical of your sources and try to gather a range of viewpoints on a particular topic, taking one person's work as being representative of a particular situation is always going to be a problem.
Link is HERE
Best Wishes.
Brian.

Re: Sea of Reeds
"Then I, Abraham, went out traveling in a circuit to survey the land. I began the circuit at the Gihion River [biblical "River of Egypt"?], I went along the Mediterranean Sea until I reached the Mountain of the Bull [Mt. Amanus]. I circled from the coast of this great river saltwater sea, skirting the Mount of the Bull, and continued eastward through the breadth of the land until I came to the Euphrates river. I traveled along the Euphrates until I reached the red sea in the east,
whence I followed the coast of the Red Sea until I came to the branch of the Reed Sea [possibly the tongue-shaped Gulf of Suez], jutting out from the Red Sea.
From there I completed the circuit, moving southward to arrive at Gihon River. Then I returned home safely and found all is well with my men."
[From the Dead Sea Scroll commonly called the Genesis Apocryphon, Column 21, translation provided by Leslie Falk and Amanda Scott]

Re: Ron Wyatt
Whatever assures us, "Ron Wyatt chariots have been captured by modern robotic video, confirming it was the crossing site, etc... "
While I am sure Whatever sincerely believes all this, I feel it well worth the readers time to examine the entire text from which the following is taken:
"One of the individuals who I interviewed, who lost approximately 30,000 thousand dollars to Ron Wyatt, went to Israel with him, supposedly to see some of these sights and record them on film. An assignment editor of a major television station in Nasheville went with them. Not only did this individual not see any of these incredible discoveries, but his wife was told by one of Ron Wyatt's sons that the chariot wheels that Ron supposedly discovered in the Gulf of Aqaba were planted there by Ron. Mr. Wyatt gave this couple some coins which he supposedly found at the Ark of the Covenant site. Again, one of Wyatt's sons informed the wife that Wyatt bought those coins. Gentle, soft-spoken Ron verbally abused an Arab car rental agent when the agent told Mr. Wyatt that his son was to young to drive the vehicle. This couple and the television man returned with nothing to show for the ten's of thousands of dollars he gave to Ron. Later, Ron returned and asked for $10,000 dollars more. This man told Ron he would give him the money if he agreed to take a lie detector test and sign a statement agreeing to allow this man to use the results of the test any way he wanted. Ron tried to get the money without agreeing to take the test, but when he saw that he would not get another dime without the test, he finally signed the statement and took the test. In the words of the man who put Ron Wyatt through the test, as told by the man who gave Ron Wyatt all the previous money, 'He failed just about everything except his name.'"

Re: Michael Rood
No, the camera pictures do NOT confirm that it is the crossing site.
The camera pictures (assuming that they exist) do not refute the evidence that Ron Wyatt is a fraud - they have no bearing on that evidence.
Even if we assume that Michael Rood and everyuone else produced in making the film is entirely honest and that the chariot wheels are exactly where they say then they could still have been left after Ron Wyatt planted them for his own photographs or have nothing to do with any alleged crossing.
If you want to rehabikitate Ron Wyatt you need MUCH better evidence.
