Do you think it is wise not to believe in God? Can you dismiss the possibility that heaven and hell are real?

dwise1 writes: Which god? Which theology about "god"? I am a person who has seen and heard a great deal of the spirit world compared to most people. I saw Jesus Christ dressed as a shepherd on the wing of an airplane while it was still boarding when I was nine years old. He left the flock to find that one lost sheep. I have heard the Father say, "the battle against good and evil has been here since the beginning of time." His voice sounds of greatness beyond this world. I have witnessed that Jesus is indeed the Son of God. I have witnessed the Lord's power to restore a soul and make it new again. I have witnessed the Holy Spirit of the Holy Bible. He is not the archangel that Islam teaches. I have witnessed both angels, demons, and powers. I have witnessed those of both heaven and hell. I have witnessed a great many truths in the Holy Bible. My personal preferance is the Catholic Bible.

jar writes: Of course it is wise to not believe in God; belief in a God is not reasonable, logical, rational or evidenced. Psalm 14:1. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God." jar writes: But that is also totally irrelevant. Nothing you have presented in any way offers any reason to believe in a god and rather simply indicates not just utter ignorance but willful ignorance at best if not insanity or dishonesty. I am not ignorant. And I am of sound mind and honest. This is the way God wants me to be.

Bliyaal writes: Should I remind you that you still didn't answer my questions? Can you dismiss the possibility of an hallucination? Can you dismiss the possibility of mental illness? Yes, on both accounts. I have never hallucinated in my entire life. And I have never had a mental problem. Now you can answer my question...do you think it wise not to believe in God? ringo writes: The Bible says he does. You've been shown that. You're directly contradicting the Bible. Do you honestly believe that the third person of the Holy Trinity is a dove? The Holy Spirit has no reason to lower Himself to being a dove. Also, if the Holy Spirit appeared as a dove, He would be seen masquerading as a lying deceiving devil. Is this what you think of the Holy Spirit?

A small handful of Christians misinterpret that scripture. The Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the Holy Trinity, He would not be appearing as a dove.

If you believe that scripture says the Holy Spirit appeared as a dove, you are one of the few Christians that misinterpret that scripture. Scripture actually says; Mathew 3:16. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
This photograph shows the Spirit of God descending like a dove.

That is an actual photograph of the Holy Spirit. As can be seen, He is far from a hallucination or a delusion.

You having worked in the mental health field along side a bunch of quack psychiatrists means nothing. I would suggest that you look into their history. These are the same caring physicians that would kill patients drilling holes in their heads trying to release evil spirits. Evil spirits are not in a person's head. This shows how much they knew. Studies only "suggest" that psychosis is a brain disorder. This has not been proven. It has been known for thousands of years to be the devils which have driven a person mad. Today, some countries still teach this truth and some US psychiatrists will inform their patients that they may have the devil in their lives. These physicians have attempted to cover up their trail of errors over the years by changing the word madness to insanity and now to psychosis. You are speaking of a field of medicine which has a long history of inhuman treatment of patients and gross errors such as excessive drug treatment, excessive shock therapy and frontal lobotomies. These are the quack doctors of which you have acquired your knowledge from and put your faith in.

You put your faith and trust in a bunch of quacks. History has already proven this to be true. Studies only "suggest" a brain disorder. The brain disorder is more likely brain damage do to drug abuse which is a sin that brings evil spirits into one's life. Many Christians bear witness to this truth. Insanity is believing the lies of the devil. It has been known for thousands of years to be the devils to drive a person mad. You can find this in the scripture with people foaming at the mouth having been driven mad by a demon. Most cases are not this severe. My brain has never caused me to hear or see anything that was not there. You people fall way short of understanding spiritual reality. If you insist on believing the lies of this world you will die in your sins.

ringo writes: Looks like a dove. That's what the Bible says. That is not what the bible says. Descending like a dove. Not "looks like a dove".
ringo writes: He has no reason to lower himself to being an orb either. He is not lowering Himself. The orb is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. He is an absolute perfect spirit. He is God the third person of the Holy Trinity.
ringo writes: The Bible says that the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove. What part of that do you not understand? You misinterpret scripture.

ringo writes: We've been through this. Luke clarified:quote: Luke 3:21-22 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased. "Like a dove" means "in bodily form like a dove". The Holy Spirit looked like a dove. The only one who's misinterpreting it is you. It says, "the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove.
