BluesCat48 on the morality issue
Author: BluesCat48 Forum: Social Issues and Creation/EvolutionThread: The moral implications of evolution, and their discontents.Post #: Message 60 This keeps cropping up. I don't think I've even seen anyone deal with it seriously. After this post we shouldn't need to again. It covers it very well.

Chiroptera on the 'real issue'...
Author: ChirpoteraCoffee HouseOnly if Mom says soMessage 267 Some people appear to feel that giving birth is the default option, and abortion should be made only after serious consideration. To me, it should be the opposite -- a human being shouldn't be produced until after one has given serious thought about the responsibilities that this entails. It's always slightly embaressing when it takes someone else to vocalise a belief I've always had a difficulty in expressing. Very well put. Edited by cavediver, : No reason given.

Truthlover tells it like it is
Author TruthloverForum: Is It Science? Thread: You are hereby appointed Commissioner of the Dept. of Education for Tennessee Post #: 4 Truthlover is a Christian believer whom I respect immensely. This post illustrates part of the reason why. He owns his belief, and never lets his faith get in the way of common sense. Edited by Adminnemooseus, : Change forum from "Science Forums" to "Is It Science?". Change thread from "Is It Science?" to "You are hereby appointed Commissioner of the Dept. of Education for Tennessee". Edited by Phat, : OOPS! oh well...still a good post!

Seconded, both insightful and a bit entertaining.

Percy sums it up
in Message 290 Percy sums up the evidence that was presented for Creationism and why it is unlikely we will ever see Creationism supported.
No evidence for creationism was presented in this thread, only fatally flawed and uninformed arguments against well-supported views of modern science. Creationists seem to have an innate misunderstanding of the nature of positive evidence. If evolution were shown wrong, it would only mean that we have no scientific explanation for the diversity of life on earth, but would provide no support for creationism, which itself has no positive evidence. Immigration has been a problem Since 1607!
