Has anyone with a good physics knowledge ever hear of "active zones" and "dead zones" in relation to kinetic and potential energy. Apparently nothing to do with what most people think of when they hear kinetic and potential energy?
This might seen like a strange question but a guy at work was going on about hearing this theory (he didn't know the name) from a guy who supposedly goes to Oxford.
I think he was being duped, but I never had physics past my 1st year in varsity. I've done a quick internet search and found nothing.
