"Hi TC,
I read the article last week, I liked it."
--I think the article was alright, I do however, IMO think that his use of logic in scientific methodology is a bit sloppy though.
--Personally, the most interesting segment was his notion that the big bang not only must imply an origin ex nihilo of matter & energy, but of space-time. This piece is in his introductory paragraphs.
"I subscribe on-line to Astronomy but must say I like Sky and Telescope a little more. Astronomy Now is a good one too, when you can find it."
--What kind of information in
sky & telescope is of higher quality than
Astronomy? I've heard of the magazine and see it often referenced in papers with a cosmological application.
"Are you a stargazer ?"
--Technically you could call me a stargazer, there is nothing more phenomenal & fascinating than simply gazing at the stars on a clear night. But unfortunately, I don't have a telescope
I had earlier planned on ordering a 16 inch for the past two or so years, though the interest in spending so much money dwindled to where it wouldn't be worth it. I still look forward to getting a 4 to 8 inch or somewhere in between, but I think I need to get my motorcycle first
. Until then I'll have to use my own eyes until we can genetically engineer telescopic optic implants or something of that nature
That would be interesting.
