I know a Lam Dao in Oklahoma.
"Coragyps" is the genus of the black vulture - I had a nickname to do with vultures back in high school. There is also a roost of turkey vultures across the street from my house. I would have used their Linnaean name, but it's "Cathartes", and that sounds like some sort of patent-medicine laxative. Enough people think I'm full of s*** already without that.....
